WHAT IS A DREAMHONU?

Honu is Hawaiian for turtle, particularly the green sea turtle. Hence, a dreamhonu is a turtle of dreaming and imagination. Or it could just be a compound word made up on the spur of the moment. In the least, it's no relation to the Great A'Tuin, though there may be turtles all the way down.

WHICH MEANS DREAMHONU.COM IS...

An assemblage of various artistic and amusing works hosted by and associated with the main portal of dreamhonu.com. In other words, it is a creative conglomerate. Currently the site hosts the gallery of Elysse Meredith as well her handicrafts blog lysse-bird. Plans for expansion include a webcomic and a fandom joke/parody website co-run with her friend Erika, and a webbase for her mother's annual Christmas devotionals.

WHO IS ELYSSE MEREDITH?

During the daytime, she's a postgraduate student working on her thesis for her Ph.D. in Medieval Studies. At night, she's a comic artist/habitual doodler/writer who spends most of her time either sitting in coffee shops with her local NaNoWriMo writing group or dancing (ceilidh or belly). In general, she's a Christian and an American Abroad (hence any peculiar spellings that defy the conventions of most English-speaking countries) and completely addicted to handicrafts.

SO...SHE'S WRITING THIS IN THIRD PERSON?

Yup.
